Old Testament:
Genesis – “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you” (12:2)
Exodus – “I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God” (6:7)
Leviticus – “I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful” (26:9)
Numbers – “The Lord bless you and keep you” (6:24)
Deuteronomy – “The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (31:6)
Joshua – “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (1:5)
Judges – “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior” (6:12)
Ruth – God’s promise of redemption through the kinsman-redeemer (foreshadowing Christ)
1 Samuel – “The Lord does not look at the things people look at” (16:7)
2 Samuel – “Your house and your kingdom will endure forever” (7:16)
1 Kings – “I will be with you” (11:38)
2 Kings – God’s faithfulness despite Israel’s unfaithfulness (demonstrated throughout)
1 Chronicles – “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God is with you” (28:20)
2 Chronicles – “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray… I will heal their land” (7:14)
Ezra – God’s promise to restore His people (demonstrated in their return)
Nehemiah – “The God of heaven will give us success” (2:20)
Esther – God’s sovereign protection (shown through His providence)
Job – “I know that my redeemer lives” (19:25)
Psalms – “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” (23:1)
Proverbs – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and he will make your paths straight” (3:5-6)

These promises reveal God’s character of faithfulness, love, and unchanging commitment to His people throughout all of Scripture.
